Im in.
Compact analog delay with mod.
The big plus for me is being able control wet / dry mix with an expression pedal.
Tap would make it the perfect feature set for my needs but this is pretty close in print anyway.
If it sounds great, a certain green analog delay at the same price point will be looking over it's shoulder.

From Premiere Guitar's NAMM coverage:

Seymour Duncan's new Vapor Trail delay feature 600ms of completely analog delay with two mini pots for modulation, a transparent delay knob with an embedded rate LED, and a cool wet insert that you can use with an expression pedal to control volume of repeats or to use with a y-cable to loop in any other effect and have it only affect repeats. It goes for $149 street.

Cool! Would've looked even better had they shrunk that logo a bit and maybe moved it to the bottom left.

Yeah, the switch could be lower for sure, but it looks like a cool pedal that has a lot of features players ask for. I thought their Deja Vu was a great delay, though kinda big and definitely HEAVY - I could tell a major difference when that thing was on my board. Look forward to hearing this one.

cabron copy. renula is pooping himself over this pedal.

not a fan of the graphics myself but the LED knob thing is cool. reminds me of my greenhouse pedals with the see through knob and top jacks

Looking forward to "vs" comparisons with the Carbon Copy and Malekko 616!

Jacks on top and side exppression is COOL - very Dr Scientist :)

Yeah, I saw this one as well, very good design for a single size delay box.

Looking forward to the demos/reviews as well.

I like simple great sounding delays, not a fan of menus and endlessly tweakable boxes. This seems like a good balance of cheap, small, smart features.

that's the same thing I was thinking

Interesting. Looking for a new delay...was about to get a Deep Blue Delay. This SD comes in a little less expensive. We'll see.

I think the graphics are great actually. Good looking pedal. I agree though that the switch could be lower.

I'd love to have that on my Deep Blue Delay pedal. I don't mess with delay times or repeats, more set and forget, but it would be nice to bring the delay a little more out front during some solos.

I'm guessing the position of the foot switch has to do with the orientation of the battery compartment.
Doesn't bother me much. With the ability to control wet /dry mix with an expression pedal, I'm likely to just leave it on & fade it in as needed.

First thing I though when I saw the title too. haha

What's the bypass on this - trails/buffered or true?

I agree the pedal looks slick. Blue on sparkly silver with swirly lines, yum!

According to Premier Guitar: "and a cool wet insert that you can use with an expression pedal to control volume of repeats or to use with a y-cable to loop in any other effect and have it only affect repeats."

The pic here has a spec sheet/instruction manual in the background:

A couple of extra stuff you can gleam from it...

- Looks like only 11mA required to power it, less than the Carbon Copy
- It says "You can also use this jack to output a wet-only..." - awesome, maybe you can use it as a wet out for stereo-esque uses.

No idea which type of bypass.
The info I posted in the OP from Premier Guitar is all I've seen so far.

I'm diggin the look of it too.

Was this close (making the pinchy finger sign) to ordering a Malekko 616 Dark, but I'll hold off until I've heard a demo of the Vapor Trail to see how dark the repeats are. The compact size and extra features (expression, Y-loop, modulation) are very, very tempting in this kind of price range.

Hope SD continues slimming down his pedals.
The Shape Shifter is one of the best tremolos out there but, man that think is big and ugly.
The same can be said about the Deja Vu.
Great pedals but their sizes are deal breakers.
